Old Timer Day
Every year during the ‘Zederikdagen’ our local community hosts an event full of old timers. For the 17th time Lexmond was the starting point of this event that takes the participants through the Zederik area which was named after the river that runs through it. Visitors can see all the vehicles before their tour starts in Lexmond where they are showcased throughout the heart of the town. There were automobiles, motorcycles and tractors to be seen, each with their own character which also goes for their owners. They, the aficionados, showed great dedication to their passion, you could see it in their maintenance work. Discussing engineering with fellow participants while the vehicles looked like they have just been finely glazed. I have enjoyed the Old Timer day for this and so I took my camera with me trying to capture the essence of it all.
